2018 Youth Convention
Hosted by the Church of the Nazarene, NYC is a powerful youth event that has been held in different locations over the past six decades. NYC takes place every four years and provides an opportunity for high school students from the USA and Canada to be united in a time of worship, teaching, and community service. Simple, but challenging. Sometimes described as two pillars of following Jesus, we explored the connective nature of our relationship with God and others while we learned what it means to live out His love in our world. While at NYC , participants contributed over 33, hours of service to organizations working in Phoenix, AZ and around the world. The work was focused in the areas of community engagement, education aid, hunger relief, child development, church support, and compassionate response. Post-event resources can be found here.
