He also played as an outfielder for the Oklahoma Sooners baseball team. He was drafted first overall by the Cardinals in the NFL Draft , as well as ninth overall by the Oakland Athletics in the MLB draft , making him the only player to ever be drafted in the first rounds of both sports.
